Version 1.2.0 • Last Updated: June 2026

1. Scope & Definitions

This document governs your access to and usage of the PesaBill cloud operating software, subscription profiles, client portals, and Developer API pipelines. By registering an account, you consent to compile, manage, and verify billing information through Stripe, Paystack, and PayPal gateways in compliance with these guidelines.

Under these regulations, "Workspace" refers to the database isolation block housing your invoice parameters, receipt image scans, team member rosters, and audit trails.

2. Subscription Billing

Active plans (Free, Pro, Business) are billed on recurring monthly or annual cycles. Upgrades are computed and adjusted pro-rata immediately, while downgrades clear at the termination of the current active cycle. PesaBill does not issue partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.

We do not provide free trials. Signups authorize instant access to Free plan tiers with visual limitations. Local payment gateways operate subject to their independent transaction fee policies.

3. Account Integrity & Conduct

Users must not execute fraudulent invoicing, invoice factoring schemes, money laundering operations, or distribution of unauthorized marketing assets. Workspace parameters are actively audited for malicious billing behaviors, and violators will face immediate profile suspension without notice.

4. Limits of Liability

PesaBill provides database resources, automated reminders, and client dashboard portals on an "as-is" infrastructure layer. We do not guarantee 100% error-free ledger reconciliations and are not liable for tax computation errors, gateway downtime losses, or customer dispute penalties.

5. Information Protections

All database values (passwords, secret API tokens, client contacts, and banking logs) are encrypted in transit using SSL TLS 1.3 pipelines and stored at-rest with AES-256 standard encryptions. We comply with major international privacy directives including GDPR, CCPA, and NDPR frameworks.

6. Jurisdictional Laws

These regulations are governed and construed in accordance with standard corporate governance regulations. Disputes arising under these policies will settle exclusively under designated arbitration courts.
